Skyview Junior High
Skyview Junior High School is a junior high school that is part of the Northshore School District. It is situated in Bothell, Washington, near the Canyon Park area. Built in 1993, it supports about 1,100 students every year from grades 7–9. Skyview Jr High feeds into Bothell High School. It has currently been experiencing some growth in student population due to the spurt of new construction in the area. Therefore, the Northshore School District has recently underwent some boundary line changes.
== Changes ==
There have been multiple changes in the summer of 2012, Mrs. Grimes will be missed dearly, as she has accepted another job. Mr. Nowak has left to South Africa to help in the cure for AIDS.
Also, the school itself is changing. The entire performance arts building is being remodeled. It will have a new stage and choir/drama room. The band room is also being reconstructed, but in a different way. The band room is going to be leveled and storage rooms with be removed and or rearranged.
Also, Ms. Hjort, long-time science teacher at Skyview, died several weeks before in December 2014 due to cancer. She was one of the first people to remain teaching at Skyview since its opening.
